Stock Photography

Each stock photo in the ZandStudio.com Stock Imagery collection is offered as either a Royalty Free Photo or a Rights Managed Photo. When you license a Royalty-Free photo, you pay a one-time fee for an image. You can then use the image for different projects for an unlimited time period. You cannot sell a royalty free photo to someone else. You can include a royalty free stock photo as part of a product like the cover of a CD, graphics in software, etc.
The majority of the stock photos in our image library are “Rights Managed.” This means that you license the right to use the stock photo for a specific use for a defined time period (which is usually one year). For example, you purchase a license for a stock photo to be used in a brochure, quarter page in size, print run of 50,000 for one year. If you then need a different use, you will also need an additional license. For more details, see our Terms of use.
To obtain a price quote fill out the Request for a Quote form or email us at quotes@ZandStudio.com Be sure to provide the use, circulation or quantity being printed, placement of image (cover, inside etc.), size of image (full page, half, quarter, etc.), and language and countries the publication will be distributed. Please also include your phone number. Our pricing is based upon market research provided by Fotoquote. We do strive to offer competitive pricing for the use of our photos.
You will receive an email including our secure FTP server information in order to downloading your hi resolution purchased photo with in 24 hours of your purchase and also receive a CD including ordered photos.

Fine Art Prints

The majority of the stock photos in our image library are available in prints. Acceptable methods of payment include PayPal (which supports secure credit card transactions) or a check sent through the mail. When the later method is used, the images will be sent when the check clears the bank.

Watermarks: All images displayed on ZandStudio.com have a watermark imposed on them. This watermark is designed to prevent theft, but the images once purchased will not have our watermark on them.
Q. : What is the difference between a wall poster, a fine art poster, and a fine art print?
A. : Generally the difference is in the level of quality. Wall posters are typically printed in large volume on less expensive paper, fine-art posters are printed on high-quality paper, and fine-art prints are printed with careful attention to true color reproduction on high-quality paper.

Stock Photocards

Our PhotoCards are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper using your choice of a matte or glossy finish. These PhotoCards are made on premium quality photographic paper. Each photo greeting card is 5" x 7". These note cards depict original photographs of California. Each card is blank inside so you can write your own message. The cards are also suitable for framing as mini-portraits. Each Photo Note Card comes with a matching envelope and is:
• Professionally printed and matted.
• Wrapped in a protective crystal clear bag. (USPS approved for mailing)
• 5" x 7 - Blank Inside.
• printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper.

Technical Specification

Q: HOW DO I DETERMINE WHICH FILE SIZE I NEED FOR MY PROJECT?

A: The optimal file size for your particular usage will depend on several factors including the size of your use and whether you are intending to crop the image. Here is some guidance:

Low Resolution
364 KB Image Size: 4" x 6" at 72 dpi / RGB
1.42 MB Image Size: 8" x 12" at 72 dpi / RGB
This size is intended for the following primary uses:

Web sites: general use as well as Flash movies, etc.
Multimedia, such as PowerPoint presentations.

Medium Resolution
5.7 MB Image Size: 16" x 24" at 72 dpi / RGB
Ideal for print usage of up to 4" x 6". If, for example, you are using the image on the inside of a brochure, relatively small, this is the perfect size (unless you are cropping and only using a portion of the image).

High Resolution
22.8 MB Image Size: 32" x 48" at 72 dpi / RGB or 7.5"x11.5" at 300 dpi
EXTREME RESOLUTION, print usage is suitable for full spread print reproduction where the image will be used LARGER than 4" x 6" (or if you are cropping the image). Similar to the 5.7 MB, these larger file sizes can be used relatively smaller-- in order to achieve maximum density and detail in the image.

How large can you go with these file sizes? Certainly up to 32" x 48". Larger than that will depend on several factors, including:

1.Cropping

Far and away the largest source of file-size confusion. Remember: If you are only using a portion of the image, you must calculate the size you are using based upon the size of the original image, not just the portion you are using.

2.Enlargement

Our larger image files have been used for everything up to and including billboards. However, the amount you can enlarge the image will be determined by a variety of factors, some of which are very subjective.

Shipping&Returns

ZandStudio.com offers several shipping choices to fit the customer's needs. We currently ship by USPS for a majority of shipments. Most orders that placed before 2:00 PM Pacific Time are normally shipped the next business day. Delivery time is usually 5-9 business days from the time your package leaves our warehouse. We do drop shipping for reseller customers.

Once you place an order in our Online Photo Ordering, you will see the the final shipping cost based on your location and the amount of your placed order.

Availability:
Most orders ship out from ZandStudio.com within 24 hours from receipt of payment. From then it will take 5-9 business days for your art to arrive depending on the shipping method.
You will receive an email notification the day your order has been shipped with a confirmation of shipment and a tracking number. This makes you able to track your order at all times until it reaches your doorstep.
If for any reason the print that you ordered isn't available for immediate shipment, we will notify you and give you a new expected shipping date.

I didn't recieve any e-mail

Please check your spams first, If you do not receive an order confirmation e-mail within 30 minutes, then your order has NOT been placed and your Paypal account or credit card will NOT be charged. We apologize for the inconvenience. To complete your order, re-enter your order information. Please try again in a few minutes. A technical problem on our end has interrupted your shopping session. We may be experiencing technical difficulties.

An Item Is Missing

Sometimes because of varying item availability and warehouse locations, you may receive more than one shipment when you place an order with multiple items. We will not charge you extra for split shipments. The invoice you receive with your order will tell you which items have been shipped separately. My Order Didn't Arrive

Orders shipped through our Priority and Express shipping options can be tracked on our shipping carriers' Web sites in future. If you wish to track an order, please Contact us. We're sorry, but orders shipped by the Standard option cannot be tracked door to door. An Item Is Damaged or Defective

We are committed to your total shopping satisfaction. If an item you receive from ZandStudio.com does not meet your expectations, simply return it to us. merchandise can be returned by mail within 30 days of delivery. See our Returns Policy for exceptions.

Gift wrapping charges (if any) are not refundable. Shipping charges are not refundable except if you were sent an incorrect, damaged or defective product.

zandstudio.com offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied,we will gladly accept a return for exchange or for refund within thirty (30) days from date of shipment.

To return your item(s) please pack them in the original tube or box and include the completed Return Instructions form which you will find on the back of the invoice included with your shipment. Be sure to specify the reason for the return, and what action you would like us to take: Free Replacement or Refund

ZandStudio.com may be unable to process returns received without this form or a written explanation of the reason for the return with the order number.

Shipping and handling is not refundable unless you receive a damaged or incorrect item.
Purchases involving customer error will not be eligible for refunds.
It is recommended that you use a shipper that provides shipment tracking. ZandStudio.com is not responsible for any lost shipments.
